Services Provided

Coaching and Therapy for Children, Adults and Families:

Coaching services for families begin with a 90 minute assessment meeting
between parents and Louisa.  This session is followed by in home sessions, where
the work of transforming family interactions can best take place. Louisa has had extensive counseling experience with children, families and adults.  She can assist with issues such as depression, anger management, grief and loss, domestic violence, sexual abuse, substance abuse, and family dynamics.  She is a certificated art therapist.  Therapy can be provided at an office in Hillcrest.

Phone Consultation:

Coaching and consulting can be conducted by phone, for those who are not in the San Diego area.  In addition, clients who are receiving coaching can take advantage of extra help in between sessions.

Parent Workshops: 

Workshops can be designed to meet your group€™s needs, Topics covered, length of time and number of sessions are at your discretion.

Services for Educators:

The Nurtured Heart Approach is most effective in schools when principals fully support its implementation.  We recommend that those leading the effort read The Inner Wealth Initiative: The Nurtured Heart Approach in Schools by Tom Grove and Howard Glasser.  We provide workshops for educators, ranging from 90 minutes to 8 hours over the course of several sessions.  Follow up coaching with teacher is classrooms is recommended.

Consulting and Supervision for Clinicians: 

Workshops for mental health agencies can be designed to meet agency needs.  Louisa has provided supervision to ASW's, MFT interns and graduate school interns for over 6 years.
